I just spent hours correcting a few more bugs which were giving unexpected results in terms of wage statistics.

the only bad bug on your site is your questionare about the salary! I did try to log on but after far too many personal questions, just gave up!!! Maybe you can try to create less questionable web page so we can join. After all, I don't care about the average, I won't tell you the truth anyway. Think that most of us won't.

Get your questionare as an option, not the first thing that comes up and than we can try to make use of your site,

Thanks for this interesting feedback. I believe you're talking about the wage comparator which you have to go through before your can get a member account ?

If so, it's probably not explained enough on the website.

The idea is : you want to know about wages you can find according to your profile ? You go to seajobrate.com

Then if you expect the website to give you an accurate answer, the best you probably should do is feeding it with accurate details.

There's a nicely sophisticated engine behind the screen which took quite a long time to design, and without unveiling secrets, one of its remarkable behaviour is that the more you lie to it, the more it lies to you (and the less your data is considered).

Lastly, I'm sorry you found the comparator too long and personal.

If you think about it, it doesn't ask your email adress, your city, your employer name or company name, not even your city.

So there's no data which allows to identify you, except of course if you work for a single ship company (and even then).

As about time spent, it takes less than 2 minutes to obtain a result. I had many feedbacks on it and all saying it's fast and straight.

Could you think about what precisely makes you feel it's intrusive and too long to fill ?
