Ship Management – Operation is looking for a Marine Superintendent for impending accession.
Your main tasks and challenges will mainly involve:
sparring partner with our vessels and other departments (daily operations)
guidance and development within the operational area
preparation of operational procedures and risk assessments
inspection/audit of internal and external tonnage
follow-up and operational development within the HSEQ area
contact with authorities
involvement in preparation and start-up of new builds
various ad hoc tasks
We expect that you:
have a maritime background, preferably with experience as a Navigator
are capable of pro-active co-operation
high level of communication skills
able to organize your tasks in a hectic working day
excellent methodical abilities
able to handle both short and long term deadlines
able to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams
outgoing and customer orientated
excellent knowledge of Danish and English – both written and oral
flexible – including being prepared to form part of the ESVAGT watch arrangement
IT knowledge at user level - Microsoft Office etc.
able to identify with ESVAGT’s core values
